Old Cambridge Baptist Church is a progressive and inclusive Christian community in the American Baptist tradition that seeks to answer God's call to hold fast to love and justice for all the earth and its peoples.
Through our common life of prayer, worship, and spiritual development, we are enriched and sustained as we follow the example of Jesus and extend ourselves to the world, working for social, economic, and ecological justice, celebrating life through the arts, and welcoming all those who are seekers. |

| Union Baptist Church is a lighthouse, beaming the transforming power of the Gospel to guide and anchor the moral and spiritual foundations of our nation. We are envoys of the Holy Ghost, breaking down walls of social partition, so that the church can be in the commmunity and the community in the church. Our fellowship is a welcome table for the world, leaving no heart who comes near uninvited, uninspired, unchallenged or unchanged when we worship God. |

| Music has always been integral to our life at St. Paul's, and so another important part of the parish is the Boston Archdiocesan Choir School, which has been located at St. Paul's since 1963. The Boston Boy Choir (as it is often called) sings at the 11 a.m. Mass on Sundays and on weekdays at the 8 a.m. liturgy and offers concerts at various times during the year. |

Our parish is a community that, in the Catholic Tradition, is centered on the Eucharist, the celebration of Mass.
We believe in Christ Jesus. We seek to be in his company and learn his way, his truth, his life. We pray and work together to reverence and support the inestimable worth of every human being. We welcome all to become active members who attend Mass and other services regularly. We ask you to assist within the liturgy as Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Usher, Acolyte, and Music Ministry. We invite you to witness your faith to the youth as a catechist in Religious Education program. |

Reading Room: 23 Church Street
In the late 1800s, after a deep study of the Bible, Mary Baker Eddy discovered a system of spiritual healing that she named Christian Science. She called it "Christian" because it is compassionate and based on the teachings of Christ Jesus and "Science" because it operates according to unvarying laws—spiritual laws of health and harmony that can be proved time and again. Her book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, fully explains these teachings. Since the 1870s, thousands of people have found regeneration and physical healing by studying the Bible and Science and Health. |

Imagine a church that is glad you're here no matter where you come from, what you look like, how old or young you are, how much money you have, where you are on the journey of life, or where you are on the journey of faith.
Imagine a church that loves its heritage, yet flexibly entertains new people, new ideas, and new ways too. Imagine a church that is amazed by the wonderful gifts God gave you for service, wants to receive them, and is eager to help you use them for the good of the world. Imagine a church that helps all who enter its life take one more step, or many more, on the Way of Life.
Imagine a church with a wide open door, imagine a church of life-changing welcome, a church of unity in our differences, a church shaped in the pattern of God's boundless embrace: Imagine First Church in Cambridge! |
